Zed Bias & Paleman - Furrball - Swamp 81

The latest Swamp81 plate sees Zed Bias collaborate with Paleman on Furrball. This being a Swamp81 release, it comes as little surprise that the title track has been racking up the YouTube hits since last July. Undeniably house music in approach, the UK duo still add some South of the river swing to proceedings via kitchen clatter percussion and some truly deranged synth lines that eventually swell to dominate the channels. On the flip, beefy stabs form to create a thuggish, sluggish groove on "Boiler", offset by the pokey Atari style bleeps, whilst the percussive arrangement seems to be sourced from reverberating samples of skateboarders careening round a warehouse.
