U-KA - Supernova (Gatefold LP) - Groovitron

The goal with Supernova was to look back to the Disco era but with a synth heavy and altogether more cosmic twist. Alex is a big fun of modern Russian classical music composing style. Also he was inspired by early English progressive scene (Yes, ELO etc). This is why U-Kas melodic lines are long and not so straight sometimes. And Oleg is musically far from academic school and prefers Zappa, early German electronic and psychedelic krautrock etc.
