Yes, the sonic explorer known as Sam Shackleton returns with some new material on his Woe To The Septic Heart label! Hardly the most prolific of artists in the aftermath of Skull Disco shutting down, the Berlin-based Shackleton has nonetheless maintained and developed his own very singular music vision across releases for Honest Jon's Perlon and Woe To The Septic Heart. This latter label has arguably seen some of the producer's most striking work, experimenting with bright psychedelic tones mirroring the vivid artwork from longstanding visual collaborator Zeke Clough that adorn the label's sleeves. Following up his last release - and most bulging statement yet - in the shape of the much coveted Music For The Quiet Hour/The Drawbar Organ box set was always going to be tough.
