Ivan Iacobucci - Azymuth Ep - Perlon
Perlon might not get the headliners it once did but the German label's legacy has long been assured. And as this new one from Ivan Iacobucci proves, they still only deal in music that makes you think as well as dance. It's a twisted, sinewy world where house and minimal meet trippy late night colours and alien sound designs. 'Azymuth' sounds like a ket-fuelled disco in the sky, while 'Sun-Cloud' comes down to earth with amore punchy technoid groove. 'Sway Zone' has such bendy tones it might well excite ASMR crew.
