Clone Royal Oak welcome back the widely-admired veteran Fritz Wentink for another of his high energy house EPs. 'Double Man' is a real sweaty workout that jacks the floor on big, steel plated drums. They almost sound live for the way they dance around so freely while a cosmic arp flutters up top. It makes for a track filled with celebratory good feelings, and 'Friends' keeps the good times rolling with another boisterous and muscular groove, this time with more tripped out effects. The closer is like a skeletal garage work out with its clipped vocals and sci-fi sounds.
