DJ Kaos - Me High - Jolly Jams

DJ Kaos is back at the controls for the latest release on Jolly Jams, a rather hefty eight-track concoction filled with the diverse style and underlying humour we have come to expect from the Berlin resident. Never afraid to toy around with live instruments, lead cut "Lay Back" bristles with fat drums, even fatter analogue acid basslines and a strange gospel vocal sample, whilst "Echoes" will test the patience of the dancefloor as Kaos loops up a harsh EBM style chant. Title track "Me High" typifies the humour mentioned above, with a goofy vocal sample championing music piracy, whilst there is plenty of cosmic glee to be found as the record progresses.
