Asusu - Velez (A Made Up Sound Remixes) - Livity Sound

The Livity Sound Remix series continues apace in high profile fashion as Asusu's "Velez" is honoured with two reworks from A Made Up Sound. Announced only last month, the series looks to be gathering a pace that's as unrelenting as the music brandished within, and you get the feeling Dave Huismans was one of the first names on the list when Pev, Kowton and Asusu were drawing up who to approach. Whether it's as 2562 or A Made Up Sound, the Dutchman's swung rhythms and weighty productions bare a similar lineage to Livity Sound's bass heavy mutations. It's hard to pick a winner here, with "Velez" sounding equally potent in chime-heavy form on the A Side and the flip's much weightier version augmented by some squeaky acid effects.
