iota - Aeiro - Animalia

After a successful inaugural release introducing the lesser-known and deeper artists of Melbourne's north, Animalia returns, focusing the spotlight this time on iota. Two original tracks are accompanied by two collaborations featuring some familiar names from the first record. This release marks a natural progression for the blossoming imprint. iota's productions have a subdued and minimalistic style, subtly punctuated with elements of trance and drum & bass, manifesting the distinct sound Animalia has become known for. iota & Menage produced Kissed by the Spiral specifically for label head Kia to play at Inner Varnika 2020 which, in an unfortunate twist of fate, was canceled. Now, some months down the line, the song has found its home and audience via Animalia's second release.
