Apparel Wax - 008 - Apparel Music

Eight is great for Apparel Wax who stick to classic deep house sounds on the label's latest missive. 'Track 1' has nice warm pads, grainy atmospheres and slick drums inviting you in deep while a perfect vocal sample tugs gently at the heart up top. 'Track 2' pairs another well selected vocal that sounds like its from some old blues record with more humid grooves. Here though there are lush jazzy keys bringing extra flavour. 'Track 3' then lays down heavyweight kicks with 'Track 4' being the most roughshod and loose limbed of the lot. A fine EP.
