Larry Heard presents Mr White - Sun Can't Compare / You Rock Me - Alleviate

Alleviated Records and Larry Heard are proud to present Memphis vocalist Mr. White (aka Chad White). Originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Larry and Chad met a couple of years after Larry relocated to Memphis. Larry always thought that Chad had great potential as a vocalist and lyricist and had been wanting to work with him, but due to a very busy travel schedule, actually getting into the studio proved a challenge. These 2 selections, produced and mixed by Larry Heard are the result of the 2 or 3 times they were able to get in the studio together and work. “You Rock Me” has kind of a “dance-rock” feel to it, while “The Sun Can’t Compare” is a fun play with vocals over an “acid” type music track!! The two very different flavors should make the 12” one that can be played in many settings!! As always with Larry Heard productions, created to be timeless so that you can enjoy it for years to come.
