Sven Weisemann - Whatever It Is EP - Just Another Beat

Linking up with the ever trustworthy Just Another Beat imprint, Sven Weisemann plays on his strengths in composition and subdued groove across two highly evolved house tracks. "Whatever It Is" drifts off resplendent on sumptuous piano chords while a dutiful beat propels the track, heartbreaking in its simple emotive qualities. On the flip, "Igneous" gets into a more abstract headspace with dubby swathes of synth and slithers of vocal, while a more urgent beat speaks less to the sunrise and more to the club, but of course the tone is still decidedly deep whichever way you turn.
