Soul Habitat Is An Independent Deep House Project With Musical Roots Firmly Attached To Early Garage House Style. At The Same Time, It Pays Tribute To The Artists, Who Were Creating The Genre And The Scene In 80s And 90s.

Raw drum sounds, sampled organs along with classic swing grooves - each of Soul Habitat tunes brings the essence of retrospective house music with a modern twist. Throughout the organic and dirty sound, the tracks at some point reflect human lifelines - full of imperfections, jumps, and sudden twists and turns, but still harmonious and resonant. You can find some melodic parts that are repeated throughout the song and those that only appear for a moment and never returns.

All of the tracks are largely inspired by the life of big cities - New York, London, Paris along with many others. The musical flavor of the productions is a combination of sound experiences gained from traveling to those places and inspirations that have been collected by listening to various music genres over the years. Each of the pieces is very often associated to distinctive architecture, cultural heritage, and regular way of life of the inhabitants of large cities.

When it comes to mixing, Soul Habitat is no newcomer to the scene. More than 10 years of experience in the production and DJ-ing different genres helped to evolve a unique style of playing sets. Combining raw bouncing beats and melancholic soulful tunes, the sets that Soul Habitat plays are the essence from the classic "golden era" style of house music. And they are 100% vinyl.
