Sascha Dive - Cornerstone EP - Bondage Music
Sascha Dive has been one of Germany's most deep producers for many years. His smoky, dubby sound is perfect for the more heady clubs, cosy backrooms and intimate crowds out there. Even without club being open, this new one works thanks to its contemplative depths. 'Dub Chronicles #3' is a low slung roller that cannot fail to hypnotise. 'Cornerstone' is more airy and outward looking thanks to the lighter chords, but 'Ancient Tribal Drums' then nails you to the floor once more with some real heavy grooviness. Last of all, 'It's A Groove' sends you home on a sweet one.
