As one of the late great Romanthony's biggest hits, this re-release of The Wanderer mixes should be a welcome treat for all those looking to capitalise on the steady stream of Glasgow Underground reissues of the legendary house vocalist. The Roman Temple version of the track lets the vocal come to the forefront so the story can hang heavy, with just drifting pads and languid string plucks drifting in the background, while the Runaway Gypsy mix drops a more solid shuffling house beat into the mix and keeps the melodics to a minimum. The "Hardcore Dub" strips the vocal down to shorter fragments and gets as raw as possible with a bare bones beat and just a few of the sound effects from the track.
