If there were such a thing as a Mark Forshaw Appreciation Society, we'd be fully fledged members here at Juno HQ with the Liverpudlian producer making great strides in terms of techno music in recent times. Slabs for Tabernacle, Ill Rivers and Mathematics have all proved Forshaw to be as good as his close friend John Heckle in terms of production but with an extra edge of nastiness. Forshaw's latest move is to inaugurate the Belfast label Computer Controlled Records with a firm four track gripper of raw acid and Detroit indebted electronic funk. "Table Etiquitte" and "Magnetic Highway" are particularly potent productions.
