Further proof of the expanding horizons of Romania's house and techno scene arrives in the shape of a quietly impressive debut EP from new Romanian label Music is Art. Countryman Little Hado is the chosen artist, and he delivers three pleasingly diverse riffs on deep house. The title track combines calm, rolling pads and heady atmopsherics with a snappy, breakbeat-inspired house groove. A Fost Bine" is a chunky but no less groovy affair, with forward motion provided by a killer bassline and some loose, hip-hop influenced beats. Finally, "Pentru Ca Dans" tumbles into vintage tech-house territory, contrasting fluid electronics with some steppy, versatile beats.
