Irish house producer Lerosa appears on Simoncino's HotMix label for the first time after a 10 year career that's seen his music released with Uzuri, Quintessentials, Millions Of Moments and Ostgut Ton. Here he provides a four-track EP of varied house styles that only someone who knows what they're doing could provide. "Inverted Castle" has a beefy staccato bassline with deep flecks of piano chords to offset the heat, while "Tango" is minimal and deep but jacking. It's quality Chicago house at its most elemental on the B-side with "Horatio" while "All The Same" throbs with a bubbly pulse while filtered keys and chord progressions are played by what sounds like a pianist trapped underwater.
