Over a decade ago the label enlisted Hisa Ishioka of King Street Sounds / Nite Grooves to curate a Japan only series of CD compilations that drew together many of the tracks that defined Larry Levan's defining deck stewardship of the Paradise Garage. Someone at the label was clearly wise to the idea that these compilations were eminently suited to the vinyl format, with the inaugural volume issued late last year typically snapped up. A second triple vinyl pack of New York Garage classics is now available on wax and is rife with killer, iconic dancefloor material from the likes of Instant Funk, Candido, Loletta Holloway, First Choice and more.
