Best things in life come as a surprise, so when we spontaneously decided to work on the re-edits and remixes for Kreon and Lemos Greatest Hits EP we did not know the result would be so perturbative. Reedits by NHOW NHOW, BASTI GRUB & KREON himself dealing with the vocals and the result is awesome. You still don't know the original? Back in 2007 when everyone was still rattling the minimal bell Resopal Red released this EP with outstanding fusion house, jazz driven tracks. Now as the label’s celebrating ten years anniversary in 2012 we thought its time for a reload. Basti Grub delivers an extremely hypnotic and groove-driven re-edit, a house tunnel with no end, where the night becomes a club. The other rework is done by our beloved NHOW NHOW, whose debut 12 on Clap Your Hands label will be released soon. Their unique style here is rawer, blending Chicago house & techno for a full & shaky dance affair, fatty bass, and a diabolic sense of groove, complete with all kinds of furious snippets. Kreon himself delivers a quite reduced, back to basic two twelve remix of the original and there is as well a remastered 2012 version of a nice day.
