Philpot-Records owner Michel Baumann starts 2016 with a new label and a new roster of Artists! We chose new talent from all genres to create a certain label-aesthetic without musical boundaries, united by a tight groove and loads of personality! UltraMagnetique opens up with a compilation-series to introduce these artists, with artists 12 inches following later in the year. The aptly named Electric Ave. Part I comes up with three treats from Ike, SPO and the label-owner himself, under his SoulPhiction moniker. Make it burn is burning on the decks of some fine DJs for some time now and received a lot of love worldwide, so we are proud to finally put it on wax! soul-drenched HouseMusic to make you feel good and shake that thing! SPO hits the streets in his jazzy Interlude Street Lady, growing in tension and releasing on a disco-tip, opening up for Ikes blinding percussion-slammer Love Envy up for a great start I guess!
