Barac Variety of Different Feelings LP - MTRZ003

With just one other release behind him on the Naural imprint, Barac makes the leap to a full-blown double pack which finds the Romanian producer exploring the fringes of the current explosion in minimal breakbeat tracks. There are serene and melodic moments as in opening cut "Marea Neagra", and there are more sparse and alien moments such as "Does It Float". It's not all chopped up rhythms though as "Muntii Bassului" provides a strict house beat to latch on to, although it is very much the exception to the rule. That said there's plenty of variety on the release with the closing title track particularly standing out with its punchy box beats and seductive synth tones.

Barac, part of NoiDoi, is getting more and more famous since 2012 and the beginning of his solo career.
He’s one of the most prolific producers on the romanian scene today and although he has released only one EP so far, the quality and richness of his productions is already well established: listen to one of his live is an amazing experience.
Here is his second release, on Metereze, young romanian label whose two previous EP are signed MP (Mihai Popescu) and Dubtil (the other half of NoiDoi).
