Making for a formidable partnership with their respective loves of beatdown house and boogie, Ugly Drums and Inkswel link up on City Fly for this marvelous EP that makes a powerful opening statement that will appeal to soul cats as much as house heads. The original version of "Watch Out!" features Charli James on vocals, cooing out a righteous delivery over a chunky, squelchy rhythm loaded with 80s funk signifiers.

Inkswel then delivers a tripped-out dub of the track that will have all lovers of weirdo grooves grinning inanely, while on the flip "Uglyink Theme" gets into a woozy downtempo house frame of mind. "Fresh Out The Water" slows things down even further with a prime slab of dreamy boogie modernism that would go down smooth next to some Dam-Funk.
